Affiliate disclosure

Facilities Field Guide is reader-supported. Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you sign up or buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

How you can tell

• Pages that contain affiliate links show a disclosure notice near the top.
• Affiliate links are marked with an ⓘ icon; hover or focus it to see the program.
• Affiliate links carry rel="sponsored nofollow", as search engines ask for paid links.

What it doesn't change

• Products without an affiliate program are listed and compared on the same terms.
• Vendors can't pay for placement, ratings, or verdicts.
• Commission rates are never a ranking factor.

The author's own products

The author sells original life safety inspection log templates on Etsy (LifeSafetyDocs). That's a direct financial interest, not an affiliate commission: whenever those products are mentioned or compared, they're labeled as the author's own and held to the same sourcing rules as everything else.

Programs

We may participate in vendor partner programs (directly or through networks such as PartnerStack) and, for physical tools, the Amazon Associates program. Program membership is noted on each product's listing.
